This year's news calls for the seaworthy adventurers and LEGO® loving souls!
Aarhus in Miniland
Big news awaits in Miniland...
... which welcomes Aarhus to the LEGOLAND® map this year. Bring out the big smile as you explore architectural gems such as Aarhus Cathedral, ARoS, the City Hall, the Iceberg, Salling, Åboulevarden and the Railway Station in the new area built from more than 2.5 million LEGO® bricks and with an area of 310 square meters.
COOL FACTS:
-
Aarhus Cathedral measures 5x5 meters, consists of 1 million LEGO bricks and took 2300 hours to build. In fact, the weathervane was built first.
-
Aarhus City Hall was built from 500,000 LEGO bricks in 850 hours. You might as well give up counting the windows yourself, because there are no less than 219 of them.
-
Olafur Eliasson's artwork “Your rainbow panorama” on top of ARoS is made in a very special way, so it looks like the museum guests are walking around.
Are you ready to experience the impressive buildings?
